JULIA CHANG

Julia is a multi-talented lead interior designer creating experiential commercial and retail environments. Her proposal was selected as the winning design for Taipei 101’s observatory, the tallest building in Taiwan.

Julia earned a B.Comm in Marketing with honors from the University of British Columbia.  After 2 years of working in marketing for a Canadian chocolate retailer, she pivoted her skills towards retail store design.  In 2011, she received her Interior Design and Interior Architecture certificate from the University of California, Berkeley and LEED certification.

In 2018, Julia founded Julia Chang Design after working in commercial interior design for nearly 6 years.  Her goal is to help businesses succeed in creating a beautiful and purposeful environment that truly speaks to their audience.

It’s all about balance, she says, “From lighting to texture to layout, every single element has to be carefully considered to create a seamless integrated whole.”

In addition to her sensible design, her experience living and working in Vancouver, San Francisco, Taipei and Tokyo have shaped her into the versatile designer she is today.
